For the Soul

For the love of the game.

For the feel of dirt in your hands.

For the touch of the skin.

For the smell of a scent.

For the sound of laughter

For the taste of sweets.

For the satisfaction of success.

For the desire of your heart.

What’s the point of a soul

if you won’t fill it?

Anthony Labson is a passionate, creative writer who found his passion at an early age writing poetry and short stories. Finding an escape from the outside world by creating one of his own became his greatest gift. In a time where everything is remade or rebooted, he also believes creativity is at an all-time low. Now he has stepped up to bring creativity back to the world that's just sticking to used up ideas and remakes that are doomed to fail. People want something original and he's one of the people who can give you what you want. Anthony Labson began his writing career attending Nova Southeastern University with The Knight Newspaper as a freelance film critic and writer. He's also been published in the NSU magazine, Digressions, and has worked for the magazine until graduating in 2008. After graduating, he frequently self-published poetry and prose on networks to gain momentum from readers. In December of 2011, he realized that he had more to offer, so he is taking the next step to being a recognized author. He is currently self-publishing his works hoping to gain attention from readers everywhere and become a successful writer. The people want to see something fresh and new, not new versions of old ideas. The future is for those who take the road less traveled and risk who they are for what they can become. If you want something that's going to grab the reader's attention, then contact Anthony Labson or enjoy one of his pieces available online and in print. Actions do speak louder than words, but words always make the biggest impact. Until the next is written.
